    Mr. Eiba, the nur­sing home direc­tor of Senio­ren­re­si­denz Woh­nen am Schloss­an­ger in Höhen­­­kir­chen-Sie­­­gerts­­­brunn, Ger­ma­ny, reports on his expe­ri­en­ces with SensFloor.

    The seni­or cen­ter in the sou­the­ast of Munich was equip­ped with Sen­s­Flo­or in 2015. The Sen­s­Flo­or sys­tem alerts in the event of falls and was able to signi­fi­cant­ly redu­ce the num­ber of falls. As soon as a resi­dent at risk for falls gets up, the sen­sor flo­or informs the care­gi­vers. A touch­screen moni­tor in the nur­ses’ sta­ti­on pro­vi­des care­gi­vers with a cur­rent over­view of all rooms.

    We are plea­sed that the rese­arch acti­vi­ties of Future-Shape GmbH have been reco­g­nis­ed by the « Stif­ter­ver­band für die Deut­sche Wis­sen­schaft » in Ger­ma­ny with the “Inno­va­ti­ve through Rese­arch” qua­li­ty label.

    The Stif­ter­ver­band is a joint initia­ti­ve star­ted by com­pa­nies and foun­da­ti­ons – the only one in Ger­ma­ny to be enti­re­ly devo­ted to con­sul­ting, net­wor­king and pro­mo­ting impro­ve­ments in the fields of edu­ca­ti­on, sci­ence and innovation.

    The new flag­ship of AIDA Crui­se, AID­A­no­va, impres­ses with a wall-fil­­­ling digi­tal art gal­lery on board. Unseen by guests, Sen­s­Flo­or is instal­led direct­ly in front of the screen wall, hid­den beneath the woo­den floor.
