Age-appropriate apartment building on Lake Chiemsee — planned for a long life
A retirement home in a wonderful location with a view of the Bavarian Chiemsee — this house was built to be truly senior-friendly. The flats are completely barrier-free and have been designed to enable their residents to remain in the house for the long term, even if they have physical limitations. Indeed, the house is smart and supports discreetly the residents in their everyday lives, whenever they need it. In an emergency, the home even calls for help automatically.
It was evident to the owner Christl Lauterbach: “Something has to change in the property market, because we urgently need housing suitable for the elderly, not just in nursing homes! Here I want to set a good example and show how a flat like this should be equipped.”
