Neurology Clinic Bad Neustadt, Stroke Unit
The Neurology Clinic Bad Neustadt is one of the biggest Centre of Excellence in Neurology in Europe.The integrative concept of the clinic includes emergency and out-patient care as well as units for four treatment phases. Thereby, each patient can receive appropriate care according to his health condition. Organisational and spatial structures allow a smooth transition between different phases with no loss of time nor information.
SensFloor – more patient security with the help of modern sensor technology
Within the scope of the research project INSPIRE, the Neurology Clinic is studying the potential applications of modern sensor technology in the field of fall prevention, with the SensFloor system as an example. For this purpose, the sensor flooring has been installed on a surface of about 30 m² in a first showroom. An expansion project is already being discussed.
